ILLUSTRIOUS Liverpool – the Helicopter Carrier ILLUSTRIOUS has completed a memorable five day visit to Liverpool ahead of the 70^th anniversary commemorations in May 2013 of the Battle of the Atlantic in that city.   During the visit to the great port city the ILLUSTRIOUS was berthed at the Cruise Liner Terminal and nearly 12,000 members of the public looked around the ship over two open days.
